The Ordinary General Meeting of the Polish Chamber of Insurance held on 22 May appointed Piotr Wrzesiński to the position of Vice President of the Chamber’s Management Board.
Piotr Wrzesiński is a lawyer and economist associated with the insurance market for nearly two decades. He began his professional career in advisory and consulting companies, then gained experience in the insurance sector.
From 2013 he has been associated with the Polish Chamber of Insurance, where he was responsible for issues concerning life insurance, bancassurance, insurance product distribution and economic and financial issues of insurance company operations.
He cooperated with key market stakeholders, including supervisory institutions
and ministries.
He is an expert in national and European regulations, with experience in analysing the impact of legal provisions on insurance company operations.
Piotr Wrzesiński is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, as well as postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.
Jan Grzegorz Prądzyński is the PIU President, who has held this function since 2009.
