1st International Training Seminar devoted to fire risk analysis and assessment in buildings

The Fire Academy, in cooperation with the Association of Fire Engineers and Technicians and the SITP Expert Chamber, invites to a two-day seminar “Fire Risk in building objects: assessment methods, management methods, practical possibilities of applying fire safety engineering principles”.

 

 

Registration for the Seminar will be conducted by the Fire Academy. The registration panel will be launched soon.

The programme includes:

  • application of standard PD 7974-7:2019 in risk assessment,
  • risk analysis in the design process and documentation approval,
  • insurers’ perspective in technical protection system assessment,
  • practical examples of quantitative fire risk analysis method application,
  • importance of fire safety instructions and fire protection management during facility operation,
  • impact of design solutions on operational activities of the State Fire Service, as well as conclusions from fire cause investigations.

The seminar will be attended by representatives of: Main Headquarters of the State Fire Service, Fire Academy, Provincial and Municipal Fire Service Commands in Warsaw, CNBOP-PIB, Building Research Institute, Polish Chamber of Insurance, as well as experts from the Munich University of Technology and Munich Fire Service.

The event will be concluded by an expert debate with the participation of State Fire Service, SITP, ITB, CNBOP and PIU.

Participants will receive training materials, a collection of papers in the form of a special issue of Fire Protection and a certificate of seminar completion.

The event is aimed at experts, designers, fire safety engineers and risk assessment engineers, State Fire Service officers, insurers, investors and facility managers, as well as all those interested in practical application of fire safety engineering principles.
