12th PIU Congress: “Competitiveness”
The 12th Congress of the Polish Chamber of Insurance (PIU) was held, as per tradition, at the Sheraton Hotel in Sopot on May 21–22, 2025. This year’s theme – “Competitiveness” – was chosen deliberately, reflecting the need for reflection on the current challenges and opportunities facing the insurance sector in Poland and across Europe.
In an era of dynamic geopolitical, technological, and social shifts, competitiveness is becoming a fundamental condition for the stability and growth of the financial market, including insurance. This concept permeates every aspect of the industry’s operations – from legal regulations and management strategies to innovation and responding to demographic changes or natural disasters.
