FSA supervises whether the level of capital indemnity of companies is suitable and assets covering future commitments towards clients are invested in a way taking into account precautionary principles required by the European and Polish law.
Supervision over bank sector, capital, insurance and pension market as well as institutions of electronic money is exercised by Financial Supervision Authority
Moreover, insurers create and fund Insurance Guarantee Fund which guarantees the payment of benefits in determined situations and, what is more, plays the role of an administrator of obligatory insurances system.
